For A Peaceful Heart ............

The Almighty is inside each of us
with the God-given choice
to use it or abuse it.

When we pray,
we pull strength from positive thought
 to depreciate negative energy fields
 that affect us personally.

Someone once said to me,
“People who lose their mind live longer,
because in contrast, an active mind, left untended,
is a deadly foe to one’s health.”

From that point of view,
if one guards his/her thoughts—
thus keeping decent, loving, caring, healthy thoughts—
as part of their program toward good health,
then it would serve as a natural medicinal.

Most folks are happiest
when actively busy in some endeavor
that keeps their mind from straying to negative thinking.
That is when they also feel strongest and healthiest.
Keeping such a mindset
can be attained through prayer
when trouble comes sneaking in like a thief
to disturb one’s physical health with illness.

Praying for knowledge, strength, and ability
 to achieve one’s goals,
will likely bring the best response,
as opposed to asking God
to provide the object of one’s prayers.
